As a lactation consultant working closely with families during the critical postpartum period, I have had the privilege of collaborating with many healthcare professionals. Among them, Dr. Works stands out as an exceptional pediatrician who consistently demonstrates both clinical excellence and a deep commitment to supporting breastfeeding families. Dr. Works approaches each infant-parent dyad with compassion, cultural sensitivity, and evidence-based care. She has a clear understanding of an infant breastfeeding and infant feeding needs. I’ve seen firsthand how her guidance and support have empowered families to move beyond the first latch. She goes beyond standard feeding guidelines by spending extended time to evaluate parents feeding desires and aligh them with the baby's feeding needs.
